I was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, and graduated from Miami University in 2012. I moved to Chicago shortly after graduation and I've been working in Advertising for the past five years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and working out on my own, with a trainer, and at Hang 5!
Why do you like Hang 5 Fitness ? Hang 5 offers a comfortable environment to try something new. While each class is challenging, between the amazing instructors and great playlists, you can't help but have fun when you're on the boards!
What classes have you attended? All of them! Surf Blend, Surf Yoga, Float Pilates and Surf Bootcamp
What is your favorite class and why? Surf Yoga and Bootcamp are my favorites. Before Hang 5, I never enjoyed yoga, but now I look forward to every class to learn new poses and techniques. Bootcamp is the perfect combination of cardio and strength training, and you leave class after 45 minutes of extremely hard but VERY rewarding work!
Has your body changed since taking classes at Hang 5 Fitness? My balance has definitely improved since starting classes at Hang 5 - even my trainer has made comments about the improvements, and he has seen me at my most clumsy in the gym!
Why did you start taking classes at Hang 5 Fitness? Hang 5 was the perfect opportunity to try something new to switch up my workouts. The variety of classes brings a fun change to my workout routine each week.
Any other thoughts?
I tell EVERYONE about these classes! I'm always talking about how much fun they are, and I cannot say enough great things about the studio.
